The goal for today was to go somewhere you haven't been before, living in a small town made this difficult especially as I don't drive so I walked a different way to the bus station and found this little spot of beauty. The canal had flooded into this little area of trees and the sun was shining off of it, nature is a huge greater force, it has the power to kill living creatures or to enable living creatures to survive and yet it also capable of beautiful things small and large. Pretty incredible right?
I suppose the message from today is to appreciate the area you live in more, there is always beauty around you as long as you open your eyes to see it. It's what YOU make of a place and the way YOU see a place that makes it beautiful or not.
